About the Project

BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. is 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2012. We are dedicated to helping children globally and locally through volunteer mobilization by way of an annual Christmas tree sale. In 2024 BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. had 64 locations in 19 US states mobilizing generosity movements to help children. 100% of the proceeds raised during the project goes directly to cause. Since 2012 we have raised and given away $12,865,583 to help children globally and locally!

Last year, thanks to our community business sponsors and families, Destiny Community Church raised over $153,000! Most importantly, 100% of the proceeds raised went to bless children here in Alachua County and around the world. 50% was donated to People for Care and Learning to help children in the foreign mission field. 50% stayed in our local community to help children right here by partnering with SIRA Pregnancy Center, Mirror Image Academy, Foster Florida, Tri-County Community Resource Center, Harmony Pregnancy Center, Rhet Cooper’s Miracle, our local schools, and we even got to help one of our DCC families adopt their precious daughter. With God’s help, we are expecting great things in 2025!
